£56 for 4 days

A short, linear ride through the Veneto, starting in Vicenza, city of the Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, and finishing in the lagoon city of Venice. Along the way you'll pass through Bassano del Grappa, famous for its covered wooden bridge and grappa distilleries, and the hill town of Asolo before arriving at Treviso and, finally, Mestre on the Venice mainland.
Tour Highlights
Individual arrival and overnight in Vicenza, city of the 16th-century architect Andrea Palladio, whose palaces line the historic centre.
Ride via Marostica, known for its castle and the giant chessboard in the main square, to Bassano, famous for the grappa spirit and its covered wooden Ponte Vecchio bridge over the Brenta river.
The day's only real climb takes you into Asolo, one of Italy's most beautiful hill towns, before a long descent through Prosecco vineyards to Treviso, whose old centre is threaded with waterways.
Follow the River Sile to Casale, passing the half-sunken wooden boats of the Cimitero dei Burci, before finishing in Mestre on the Venice mainland.
Departure after breakfast.
We recommend flying to Verona or Venice and returning from Venice.
