Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your return date. It is your responsibility to arrange appropriate travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost baggage, and any activities you will be undertaking. We strongly recommend having your insurance in place at the time of booking and carrying your policy details while travelling.
Pedal Ventures does not provide or sell flights. You are responsible for arranging your own transport to the starting point of your holiday. We’re happy to recommend suitable options for flights or ground transfers, and in some cases, we can help coordinate a transfer through our trusted suppliers—please enquire at the time of booking.
Our cycling holidays involve physical activity, and a reasonable level of fitness is required. You should be able to cycle between 1–2 hours per day on varied terrain. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, please consult your doctor prior to booking. Helmets are mandatory and must be worn at all times while cycling. Local traffic laws and safety instructions from your guides must be followed at all times.
High-quality bicycles are provided by our local suppliers as part of your holiday. You’re welcome to bring your own bike if preferred—please let us know in advance. We recommend packing the following items:
Accommodation is typically 3-star equivalent and ranges from hotels to guesthouses, provided by local partners. The accommodation standard and inclusions (e.g., breakfast) are specified in your holiday itinerary. Please inform us of any dietary preferences or requirements when booking so we can pass these on to the accommodation providers. Some properties may require a refundable security deposit upon check-in.
For group tours, all participants are expected to act respectfully towards fellow travellers, guides, and local communities. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in exclusion from the tour. We aim to foster a positive group dynamic and a safe environment for everyone.
Your final travel documents will include an emergency contact number that is available throughout your holiday. If you encounter any issues while travelling, contact us directly—Pedal Ventures will liaise with local suppliers on your behalf and support you throughout your trip. We recommend carrying a fully charged mobile phone at all times.
