The Peloponnese packs more myth per mile than anywhere you can ride: Mycenae, Epidaurus and Ancient Messini between the olive groves, the Mani’s cliff-edge roads, and Monemvasia hanging above the sea. Pair the peninsula with the Saronic Gulf and let a boat link your rides to Poros, Aegina and Hydra — cycling by day, sailing to the next harbour by evening.
Our Peloponnese tours pair the mainland’s ancient sites with the Saronic Gulf: ride the coast and the ruins, then let the boat carry you between Poros, Aegina and Hydra.

The Peloponnese is a patchwork of myth and wild scenery: the Bronze-Age citadels of Mycenae and Tiryns, the great theatre at Epidaurus, Ancient Messini’s sprawling ruins, and Byzantine Monemvasia — a car-free maze of medieval lanes clinging to a rock above the waves.
The riding matches it: quiet coastal roads around the Argolic and Saronic gulfs, olive-grove lanes through Arcadia’s valleys, and the Mani’s dramatic climbs for those who want them — with e-bikes on hand to flatten the hills. It’s the mainland heart of our Greece cycling holidays: ancient, quiet and endlessly rideable.
Spring and autumn are the sweet spots — 18–28°C, wildflowers or the grape harvest, and roads that empty once the morning heat arrives. Summer is hot: start early and swim at lunchtime.
Coastal routes are the flattest, Arcadia’s interior rolls gently, and the Mani is properly hilly — but every tour offers e-bikes, so the terrain is a choice rather than a limit.

“In the Peloponnese, you can cycle past ruins older than Rome, then sip wine under an olive tree as the sun sets.”
LukeCo-founderRide to Monemvasia, the “cliff‑hanger” town on the sea, an eerily beautiful, car‑free maze of medieval lanes hanging above the waves.
Yes, if you stay coastal: the roads around the Argolic and Saronic gulfs are gentle and quiet, and e-bikes are available on our tours for anything hillier. Confident riders can add the Mani’s climbs; nobody has to.
Mycenae, the theatre at Epidaurus, Ancient Messini and Byzantine Monemvasia all sit on or near our routes — and tours can add olive-harvest and agritourism stops that connect the landscape you’re riding to the plate in front of you.
April to June and September to October: warm without the heat, green without the crowds, and every site and taverna open.
