In Ninh Bình province, your ride glides past Hoa Lư’s imperial remains before entering Tam Cốc, where karst towers rise from rice paddies. Then it's onto Ha Long Bay, UNESCO-listed, for a cruising interlude, before matching two wheels with jungle trails on Cát Bà Island that lead into untouched Viet Hải and up to panoramic forest vistas. You travel by boat and bike, blending quiet paths with sweeping seascapes for unforgettable cultural immersion.
Cycling conditions are mild, with flat, easy terrains through rice fields and occasional light climbs on forest trails. Daily distances range from around 22 km near Tam Cốc to 18 km on Cát Bà. The unique mix of rideable farmland and forested ascents ensures variety without overexertion.
