Provence, France
This unforgettable cycling holiday blends the rustic charm of Provence with the wild beauty of the Camargue, all from the comfort of your floating hotel. From sun-drenched vineyards to salt marshes glowing pink at dusk, this is a journey that invites you to slow down and savour southern France at its most authentic.
Follow gentle cycle routes through peaceful countryside, pausing in medieval villages, Roman ruins, and colourful market squares. Pedal past olive groves and lavender fields, visit ancient abbeys and aqueducts, and trace the brushstrokes of Van Gogh in the very landscapes that inspired him.

We welcome you aboard the L'Estello or the Caprice in Aigues-Mortes, a medieval town and former military and commercial port on the Mediterranean, from 5.00 p.m. onwards. At 6.30 p.m., meet your tour leader, skipper and crew for an introductory briefing and your first refreshing aperitivo.
Cycle peaceful lanes through the Camargue countryside, passing canals, lagoons, and villages known for their taurine (bullfighting) heritage - La Cailar, Marsillargues, and Saint-Laurent-d’Aigouze. Visit an organic vineyard in the afternoon and enjoy a special tasting as you take in the scent of pine, tamarisk, and the warm sands of this unique landscape. Dinner is free tonight in Aigues-Mortes.
After a short cruise to Franquevaux, cycle onward to Arles, a city rich in Roman heritage and immortalised by Van Gogh. Explore its hidden corners and enjoy a guided visit in the afternoon to delve into its vibrant history.
Ride into the striking landscape of the Alpilles, with stops in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and the perched village of Les-Baux-de-Provence, surrounded by limestone cliffs and olive groves. Finish the day in Vallabrègues, a quintessential Provençal village on the Rhône.
Cycle quiet country roads to Barbentane and its impressive château, then visit the secluded Abbey of Saint-Michel de Frigolet before descending to the medieval village of Boulbon. Return to the boat for a relaxing cruise to Aramon, with a stunning view of Mont Ventoux.
Cycle to the awe-inspiring Roman aqueduct Pont du Gard, one of the best-preserved in Europe. After your visit, return to Aramon and cruise on to Avignon, where you moor beside the famous Pont St. Bénezet.
Today’s ride crosses the Rhône via Île de la Barthelasse, through vineyards and orchards to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Enjoy a wine tasting before returning along the Rhône, past Roquemaure and back to Villeneuve.
After breakfast, disembark and say farewell. Transfers or extra nights can be arranged on request.
